Marseille calanque

Historical visit of Marseille by sea and the Frioul archipelago (Swimming)

Discover Marseille’s history aboard our eco-friendly boat. Leaving the Old Port by boat allows us to admire a historical panorama of Marseille main monuments, the Panier district, the Great Mother, Saint Victor abbey, Saint Jean and Saint Nicolas fortress, the Pharo Palace, the Mucem museum…Let’s continue along the coast to admire the port of Joliette, the Catalans beach and the famous Cercle des Nageurs, to reach the small fishing port of Vallon des Auffes. We continue to Malmousque and the little island of Gabi in order to reach the Southern bay. We discover a panorama on the summit of Marseilleveyre which overlooks the Calanques National Park, the Vélodrome soccer stadium and the Prado beaches. We finally reach the Frioul archipelago and discover the well known Chateau d’If, the quarantine of port Pomègue  and the Caroline hospital. Stop into a little creeks of the Frioul Island, protected today by the Calanques National Park, in order to enjoy a swim before returning to the Old Port.
